My Vision
We live in a society intrinsic to meaning, perfection and predefined patterns. Our surroundings are dominated by a logical sense, which increasingly distracts us from the concept of randomness.
Behind each of my paintings there is no hidden meaning, no pattern followed, but simply instinct following the law of chance. Thus, paintings come to life characterised only by the combination of colours and the uniqueness of each individual sketch. The randomness with which the colour falls onto the canvas makes each individual painting non-replicable and consequently something unique. One may deduce a primitive logic behind it, but the unique essence of each painting will remain unchanged.
With my vision, I break the logical pattern that punctuates our lives to rediscover the fascination of disorder, the power of colours and the beauty of the indefinite.

Information
My name is Maddalena Denegri, I was born in Pavia and I am a young girl of almost 20 years old who has had a passion for art since childhood, in particular I am very fascinated by contemporary art.
In my life, making paintings has always been a way to let off steam and free my mind, especially during stressful times. I have always signed all my paintings with the name Bibì, the nickname given by my parents before I was born. I chose to use this nickname precisely to thank my parents, who always encouraged me and above all gave me the opportunity to live in a house full of art, introducing me to one of my greatest passions since I was a child.
After graduating from linguistic high school and choosing a completely scientific university path, I realised my true passions and interests. So I decided to attend the Faculty of Cultural Heritage at the State University of Milan and dedicate myself to what I love most: art.
